Foo IRC can act as a normal IRC client or can be used to connect to IRC servers as an unofficial IRCCloud client using an IRCCloud account. Either way you choose, you'll still have access to all of the features Foo IRC provides. Connecting via IRCCloud provides IRC bouncer like benefits.

How to enable IRCCloud support?

Open the Saved Server Settings pane via the Dashboard pane. Tap "IRCCloud Settings" at the bottom of the pane. Set the toggle switch for "Enable IRCCloud Support" to 'On'. Then, enter the account details associated with your IRCCloud account. You can sign-up for an account on IRCCloud's website.

How to connect to IRCCloud?

Open the Connect pane by tapping "New Connection" on the Dashboard pane. Tap "IRCCloud Settings" at the bottom of the pane. This item will not show if IRCCloud support is not enabled. All servers opened in IRCCloud will be opened in the IRC View with the IRCCloud logo next to them. the "IRCCloud" server represents the IRCCloud connection itself.

How to close the IRCCloud connection?

If the client is connected to IRCCloud, "IRCCloud" will appear as a server in the IRC View which represents the IRCCloud connection. Follow the instructions at Servers & Channels > Disconnect from a Server. All IRC servers associated with IRCCloud will be closed. IRCCloud associated IRC server should not be closed manually unless you do not want the server to appear the next time you connect to IRCCloud.

How to connect to a IRC server via IRCCloud?

Follow the instructions at Servers and Channels > Connect to a Server, and ensure the "Connect Using IRCCloud" toggle switch is set to 'On' before tapping the Connect button on the Connection Settings pane.

How to disconnect from an IRC server connected through IRCCloud?

Switch to the server that you want to disconnect from in the iRC View. Type and send "/quit" to the server. The server view will remain open in the client and on IRCCloud, but will be the disconnected state.

How to delete a server from IRCCloud?

See the instructions at Servers & Channels > Disconnect from a Server. This will disconnect and delete the server from IRCCloud.
